Il B&B “La mulina del Conte” è situato nel centro storico di Galatina, distante 20 km da Lecce, cittadina vivace per le sue attività culturali e orgogliosa del suo passato e delle sue bellezze artistiche ed architettoniche, tra le quali spicca la Chiesa di Santa Caterina d’Alessandria, di stile romanico pugliese, considerato un vero gioiello. Il nome del B&B si deve al ritrovamento di alcuni vecchi documenti, da cui si evince che parte del palazzo ove è situato il B&B era originariamente un mulino: l’antenato degli attuali proprietari, un navigante commerciante di seta di origini napoletane, infatti, comprò il Mulino esistente dal Conte Gallarati Scotti per ristrutturarlo ed inglobarlo nella sua dimora.
